Training Silage preparation on beef cattle farms

On October 6-7, a two-day training course “Silage preparation on beef cattle farms” organized by the “Meat Cattle Breeders’ Association” will take place in Zemgale. The practical part of the training will be held in cooperation with the farm SIA Budlejas. The theoretical part will be held at the Meņģeļi guesthouse (Sēme, Sēme parish, Tukums region). When attending the two-day training, supervisors will be given 16 hours as usual (8 hours theory, 8 hours practice). The co-payment for participation in the two-day training is 13 euros for small farms and forestry service companies with a turnover of no more than 15,000 euros in the last closed year, and for forest land owners and legal holders with a forest land area of up to 50 hectares. For others, the co-payment is 65 euros.
