Clarifications for rural blocks can be submitted until April 1st

From February 4 of this year, farmers can make adjustments to their field blocks/landscape elements for 2019. Requests for adjustments can be submitted until April 1 of this year.

Requests for clarification should only be submitted if:

  • the client wants to include an already cleared area in the rural block,
  • add new landscape elements;
  • remove unmanaged area from a rural block.

The area must be cleared at the time of submitting the request for clarification of the rural block, as the RSS inspectors will also inspect it in the wild. If it is not cleared, it will not be included in the rural block and the area will not be re-surveyed during the season. It is also important to remember that the request for clarification of the rural blocks is not an application for receiving area payments.

In the request for clarification of field blocks/landscape elements, there is an option to create a farmer's block - separating your managed area from the managed areas of your neighbors. This way, there is only one farmer's managed area in one field block, which allows you to more accurately declare your entire managed area, as well as avoid redeclaration with your neighbor.

We remind you that customers can check their managed areas in the RSS geographic information system, which contains the most up-to-date information on agricultural land and landscape elements in rural blocks: http://karte.lad.gov.lv/ or In the electronic application system.
