VMD letter regarding red deer and wild boar hunting
This week we have received a letter from the State Forest Service regarding red deer and wild boar hunting.
In order to facilitate the implementation of the permitted hunting volume of red deer, which is necessary to prevent damage, and to limit the spread of African swine fever in the wild boar population, in accordance with Article 6 of the Hunting Law, Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 421 of 22.07.2014 "Hunting Regulations", paragraphs 3.1.2., 7., 10., 12.1., based on Article 17, Parts one and three of the State Administration Structure Law, the Director General of the State Service:
1. In the 2019/2020 hunting season, the deadline for red deer hunting is set until 02.02.2020.
2. Permit for hunting wild boar and red deer with engines or disturbance until 02.02.2020.
3. The Director General of the VMD instructs the chief intelligence officers to ensure:
3.1. informing hunting engineers, senior hunting inspectors, senior foresters, foresters, senior referees, as well as users of hunting rights about this order;
3.2. monitoring the execution of the order.
4. The Order shall enter into force on 01.02.2020.
5. The Director of the Forest Resources Management Department shall control the execution of the order.
