We are completing work on the hunting module development project.

Today we are completing work on a project that has developed hunting modules – an individual hunting module, a driven hunting module, and an information module. Hunters, foresters, and farmers already know that they have been added to the “Mednis” app, thus ensuring the availability of various game-related functions in one app.

For those who are not yet using “Mednis” or the new modules, we would like to remind you that the app is available for free for both Apple and Android users (type “Mednis” in the search box). Thank you to everyone who tested and provided comments on the hunting modules while they were being developed!

The hunting module project was supported by the Association “Zemnieku saeima”, the Latvian State Forestry Institute “Silava”, JSC “Latvijas valsts meži”, the Hunters Association “BĀRTAVA”, the Latvian Forest Owners Association, the association “HUNTING CLUB ĒRGĻI”, the agency “Meža pētīšanas stacija”, the hunters’ club “Īle” and the hunters’ club “Ķepainis”.

The modules were developed within the framework of the state and European Union support measure “Cooperation” 16.1. sub-measure “Support for the implementation of projects of the European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability Working Groups” project No. 22-00-A01612-000012 “Development of a digital tool for the management of the hunting process and information flow, improving public health and safety”.
