We went to Tartu as part of Breedexpo

From December 9th to 10th, we went to Tartu, Estonia, as part of the Breedexpo project. While traveling to Tartu, we visited the farm “Bērzkalni”, which breeds Hereford cattle. At the farm, we discussed the possible number of animals to be exported from this farm. In Tartu, we met with the Kazakh group to discuss issues related to export. We also introduced the Kazakh representatives to the animal registration and evaluation system in Latvia. During the visit, we visited the “Puutsa” beef cattle farm, which breeds Simmental, Red Angus and Wagyu breeds using organic methods.
