The largest non-governmental organization representing Latvian farmers is the association "Farmers' Council". invites to work Public relations specialist (for a certain period of time)

Job responsibilities:

• Cooperate with mass media (newspapers, television, radio, magazines, etc.) to express the organization's opinion and create an image
• Prepare and distribute news to the media
• Coordinate interviews and participation in radio and television broadcasts of company representatives
• Keep track of information about the company in the public space and mass media
• Preparation and distribution of the organization's internal information materials - magazines, circulars, member newsletters, etc.
• Participation in organizing organizational events – seminars, competitions, conferences, etc.

Requirements:

• higher education or final year student in a relevant field
• excellent knowledge of Latvian, as well as good knowledge of English and Russian
• Experience in media/advertising/PR is desirable, as well as knowledge or experience in agriculture
• creative thinking and very good communication skills
• ability to independently organize your daily work
• good computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• stress resistance, ability to work quickly and efficiently
