We participated in the international agricultural and livestock exhibition in Turkey

From February 4 to 8, as part of the Breedexpo2 project, we participated in the international agricultural and livestock exhibition in Turkey, together with project partners from Estonia and Finland. The Latvian livestock industry was represented by SIA “Liellopu izsoļu nams”, ZS “Jundas” and AS “Siguldas ciltslietu un mālgīgās apseklošanas stacija”. During the exhibition, we presented the Latvian livestock industry to interested parties and talked about the possibilities of exporting cattle to Turkey. There was also an opportunity to visit two dairy farms, where 700 and 120 cows are milked. Both farms have imported Holstein heifers from the USA.
