We surveyed the Slocene River

On May 13, a field seminar/discussion was held: “Slocene River Research and Possible Demonstration Activities”. As part of the event, Iveta Grudovska and Līga Krūklīte introduced farmers to various runoff reduction measures and possible positions for economic considerations. LLU expert Ainis Lagzdiņš introduced the mapping platform “Story map” and a map of the Slocene River basin. Subsequently, the participants of the event went on a field survey of the river, as well as conducted an assessment of potential locations for environmental activities.
