We discussed current issues in agriculture with the Minister of Agriculture

On February 10, the Farmers' Assembly met in large numbers in Valmiera with the Minister of Agriculture Didzis Šmits to discuss current issues in agriculture and solve the sector's long-term issues. The Farmers' Assembly also discussed further cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture in the development of draft agricultural regulations. During the meeting with local farmers and the Ministry of Agriculture, we discussed the role of livestock farming in the economy, soil health, and environmental/climate aspects.
