We invite farmers to an informative seminar in Zaļenieki!

On February 5, the association “Farmers' Council” organizes and invites all farmers to attend the seminar: “Current Issues and Future Challenges in Agriculture.” The seminar will take place at Zaļenieki Commercial and Craft Secondary School, Zaļenieki. Starts at 10:00.

At the seminar, members of the board of the association “Farmers’ Council” Maira Dzelzkalēja-Burmistre, Arnis Burmistris, as well as the agricultural policy expert of the Farmers’ Council Mārtiņš Trons will inform about the challenges of the near future for Latvian farmers, the work done and to be done by the organization, domestic policy issues, as well as European policy regarding agriculture. The deputy director of the Zaļenieki Commercial and Crafts Secondary School in education, Valija Barkovska, will inform about the school and the programs available there. In turn, the seminar will be closed and the head of the Zemgale regional department of the State Plant Protection Service, Aija Čonka, and senior inspector Laima Borovika, will talk about the current affairs of the State Plant Protection Service.
