We invite you to a field day at a dairy farm on August 16th

LLKC in cooperation with the dairy farm SIA “Kalnāji”, the Farmers' Council and the Latvian Agricultural University invite you to attend a demonstration field day in dairy farming on the impact of genotype and feeding quality on cow milk productivity. The field day will take place on August 16 in two parts from 9.30 to 14.00. Start Tukums region Slampe parish in the Palace of Culture, continued – SIA “Kalnāji” at the “Līvas” cowshed in Slampe parish, Tukums municipality.

During the field day, there will be an opportunity to learn about the peculiarities of managing Holstein Red (HM) and Holstein Black-spotted (HM) cows in one herd, and to get acquainted with the dairy cow barn “Līvas”, which has been in operation since 2013. The head of the livestock industry and animal evaluators will share their work experience. AGENDA OF WORK
