We invite you to apply for the “Time for Charity” award.

The purpose of the “Time for Giving” award is to annually award those personalities who, with their excellence, enthusiasm, dedication, success, attitude and uniqueness, have inspired a better Latvia. The award is organized by the Imantas Ziedonis Foundation “Viegli”. We invite you to apply for the award in the field of national economy "I am learning about the land". – an award for Latvian business management, commercial activity based on the resources and traditions of the Latvian people.

Award tasks is:

– to honor and highlight the values important to Imants Ziedonis
– support creativity
– to inspire and encourage Latvians around the world
– to develop cultural and intellectual values and skills important for the growth and development of the Latvian people
– to improve Latvian identity and character.

The award will be presented annually in five in nominations individuals or groups of individuals who have made outstanding achievements in the relevant sector and meet the criteria for the Award valuesThe prize amount is €3,000 for the winner of each nomination (after taxes).

The award is created by the Imants Ziedonis Foundation “Viegli” together with visionaries – people who understand the nominated industry and are familiar with its current affairs. Visionaries help popularize the Award and shape it as Imants Ziedonis would have wanted it to be. 

In 2016, the application period is from January 6 to February 26 at 5:00 p.m.

The nominees and laureates of "Time for Charity" will be announced at a solemn Honoring Ceremony on May 3.
