Given the difficult weather conditions during the 2017 harvest, farmers may have problems with the germination of the prepared seed material. In such cases, if there are temporary difficulties in the supply of seeds in the country, it is also possible to request a permit for certified category seed material. temporarily market seeds that do not meet minimum germination requirements.

The procedure for issuing a permit is determined by: Regulations No. 900 of 18 December 2007 “Procedure for issuing a permit to temporarily market seeds that do not meet the minimum germination requirements".
In order to receive a permit, in accordance with the above-mentioned regulations, the seed grower must submit an application to the State Plant Protection Service by March 1. This means that until March 1 prepared for seed material must have already been tested in a seed control laboratory and received a seed evaluation result.
