ZSA representatives participated in the project partners' meeting in Ghent (Belgium)

A meeting was held in Belgium from 17 to 21 January, where project partners from 17 European countries summarized the experience they had gained over 3 years of studying the impact of digitalization in rural areas and the prerequisites for development. The meeting was attended by ZSA office employees: Inga Bērziņa and Raimonds Jakovickis from the Farmers' Council.

In this project, the Farmers' Council, in collaboration with researchers from the Baltic Science Center, worked on beef promotion activities with digital tools. 4 digital stories, or examples of good practice, were recorded in Latvia and presented in Europe. In turn, the work package leaders presented the overall project results and jointly discussed the work tasks until the end of the project. Our main task is to organize a final conference and events to disseminate the results of the DESIRAS project. The final meeting of the project partners is planned for 26-27.04.2023. in Brussels.
