ZSA seminar “Cooperation in agriculture – how to create an agricultural cooperative?”

On February 12, the Association “Zemnieku Saeima” invites you to the repeated introductory seminar “Youth cooperation in agriculture – how to create an agricultural cooperative?”. The seminar will talk about the nature, history and experience of agricultural cooperatives in the world, the EU and Latvia.

10:10 – 11:15 History of agricultural cooperatives. Definition of a cooperative – what is a cooperative and why are they formed? What are the types of cooperatives? Cooperative organizations in the world, the EU and LV. Cooperative, its mission, values, ethics and principles – Liene Feldmane, expert of the National Rural Network

11:15 – 11:30 Discussions and questions
