YOUCooperATE: Strengthening youth cooperation in agriculture by improving knowledge

The YOUCooperATE project (Strengthening Youth Cooperation in Agriculture by Improving Knowledge) aims to increase the knowledge, understanding and skills in the development of agricultural cooperatives among young people aged 15 to 17 who are studying vocational education in agriculture in Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Latvia and Italy with modern teaching and e-learning methods.

Project objectives:

(1) To increase the level of knowledge and understanding of cooperative business models and values among young people receiving agricultural education;

(2) Support the acquisition of specific knowledge by students by promoting the involvement of agricultural cooperatives in the project through mentoring, business case simulation programs, and organizing study visits;

(3) Dissemination of good practices and curricula on cooperative entrepreneurship in vocational education institutions and non-formal education institutions in five countries.
