

Opening conference of the campaign “November – Milk Month”, with the participation of J.Cīrulis
To inform about the MILK MONTH activity of the social campaign "Latvijas Labums" promoting the choice of Latvian products this November, the initiator of the campaign, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK), invites you to a press conference on November 5 at 11:00 at the Entrepreneurs' House (Kr.Valdemāra Street 35, Riga).
Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Janis Endzins will inform about the results of the campaign so far, the goals of the November activity at the press conference; Chairman of the Board of the Central Union of Latvian Dairy Farmers Janis Szolkas will describe the situation in the dairy industry; a farmer, owner of the Mežacīruļi farm, will speak about farmers' support for MILK MONTH Juris Cirulis, while the participation of dairy processors in the activity – the Chairman of the Board of FOOD UNION Normunds Stanēvičs and Director of AS “Tukuma Piens” Ints PoškusThe Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Food Traders Association will inform about the involvement of traders in the campaign. Noris Kruzitis, The presentation of the ideas and visual materials for MILK MONTH will be carried out by the head of the advertising agency DDB Latvia Andris Rubins.
MILK MONTH is supported by the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Latvian Central Dairy Farmers' Union, FOOD UNION, AS “Tukuma Piens,” AS “Talsu Pienssaimnieks,” AS “Smiltenes Piens,” AS “Cesvaines Piens,” and PKS “Straupe.”
It has already been reported that on August 25 of this year, the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and partners launched a campaign supporting the choice of products made in Latvia, “Latvijas Labums.”
“Latvijas Labums” is not a short-term campaign. It is long-term thinking. About how, with small everyday choices today, to improve your everyday life and that of Latvia tomorrow.
The campaign “Latvijas Labums” has involved associations of farmers, home producers and entrepreneurs, as well as traders and manufacturers – a total of more than 150 partners.
