Conference “Dairy farming in Latvia – how competitive (efficient) are we?”

The Latvian Rural Consulting and Education Center is organizing a conference “Dairy farming in Latvia – how competitive (efficient) are we?” on November 28 of this year. The goal of the conference is to find out how efficient Latvian dairy farms are compared to the dairy industry in other European countries and to evaluate the opportunities offered by cooperation with milk processing.

The conference will feature a speaker from the IFCN Dairy Research Network, who will present trends in the dairy market. It will also show the benefits for dairy farms of joining a cooperative that also has processing facilities.

The conference will take place in Ozolnieki, Rīgas Street 34, in the Great Hall of the Latvian Rural Consulting and Education Center.

It is possible to apply for participation in the conference here until November 14th of this year. Given the limited number of places, only those who receive confirmation by email will be able to participate in the conference.
