Informative seminar “Legislation, responsibility and experience related to the restriction of the latvāna”

An informative seminar will be held at the Durbe Culture House (Skolas Street 5, Durbe)
“Legislation, responsibility and experience related to the control of the latvian”.

Topics included in the seminar:
@ Vita Steķe (Senior Inspector of the Kuldīga Branch of the State Plant Protection Service (VAAD)) will focus on legislation; obligations of the possessor/owner in relation to the Sosnovskis Latvāna; what VAAD should do and what VAAD has done in relation to the Sosnovskis Latvāna; responsibility of municipalities; supervision and control; containment methods.
@ Rihards Valtenbergs (representative of ZS “Valti”) will talk about his experience and
@ Vilis Grāmatnieks (“Latvijas Valsts meži” South Kurzeme Forestry, Forest Infrastructure and Fire Fighting Specialist) will talk about the experience of JSC “Latvijas Valsts meži”.
