Scientific-practical conference “Balanced Agriculture”

Continuing the tradition of the annual conference, the Faculty of Agriculture of the Latvian University of Agriculture and the Latvian Society of Agronomists invite colleagues from all agricultural scientific institutions, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture, extension service employees, farmers' associations, business leaders, service providers and, of course, future agricultural specialists to meet at their Alma Mater in February 2016.

The conference will be held February 25 and 26, 2016 At the premises of the Latvian University of Agriculture at Lielā Street 2, Jelgava.
Conference objective: Popularization of the latest scientific achievements and practical experience and exchange of ideas on sustainable farming in rural Latvia.

The conference will feature a plenary session, followed by two days of work in the agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry sections. A stand with the latest research results will be displayed in the foyer of the auditorium. There will also be demonstrations of technology and innovation.

Conference participants will receive a collection of papers. The collections of papers from the previous four years have been placed in the CAB Abstracts and AGRIS databases, as well as a description and online address are included in the databases created by the LLU library.
