Seminar for potato growers

Association “Potato Growers and Processors Union” in cooperation with LLKC invites you to the seminar "Potato cultivation in Latvia - opportunities and solutions", which will happen December 2nd in Ozolnieki At the premises of LLKC. Representatives from processing companies, the State Plant Protection Service, the Rural Support Service and the cooperative society "Mūsmāju dārzenie" will participate.

11.30 – information about the potato growing industry in Latvia,
11.45 – growing potatoes for the production of chips,
12.10 – growing of potatoes for starch production,
12.30 – changes in seed production legislation,
13.00 – support payments for potatoes,
13.30 – coffee break,
14.00 – cooperation opportunities in the sale of ware potatoes.

An exhibition of potato varieties will be on display during the seminar.
Seminar participants will be able to receive the new brochure "Potatoes 2015".
