The Latvian Beef Cattle Breeders Association invites you to seminars in October in Kuldīga, Jēkabpils and Priekuļi!

9.30 – 10.00 Arrival of participants;
10.00 – 11.20 Available state and EU support measures for beef cattle farmers in 2015-2020 (representatives of the Rural Development Support Department of the Ministry of Agriculture);
11.30 – 13.00 PCharacteristics of arazitofauna in cattle, its impact on livestock health and preventive measures to be taken in beef cattle farms (leading specialists of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Latvian University of Agriculture)
13.00 – 13.45 Coffee break
13.45 – 15.00 Current events and trends in the cattle auction house. The most popular cattle breeds and the evaluation process. (Kaspars Ādams, Head of the Cattle Auction House).
15.00 – 16.00 Discussion – Beef cattle sector in Latvia – current situation and opportunities for development. (Rihards Valtenbergs, Chairman of the Board of the LGLAB Association).
The seminars are organized as part of the National Rural Network events. Participation in the seminars is free of charge.
