Seminar “Increasing Efficiency in Farms”

Subtopics:

1.Calculation of energy value and nutritional value of food products.

2. Basic principles of creating a food technological map.

Purpose:

1. to provide practical knowledge of nutrient calculation and basic principles that are essential when determining and displaying nutritional value on the label. The educational seminar is relevant for companies involved in the food chain at all stages of the food chain, if the business is related to providing food information to the consumer. Basis, Regulation No. 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

2. provide practical knowledge in the creation of a food technological map, which serves as a basic document for organizing and managing the production process of each type of product. A set of documented measures in a food production company is determined by the Food Chain Supervision Law. Participants will learn how to calculate raw materials for the production of a finished product, determine weight loss of products during processing, and the output of the finished product.
