Training for obtaining supervisor rights in beef cattle breeding in Ozolnieki

The Latvian Rural Consulting and Education Center in Ozolnieki is organizing training in February to obtain supervisor rights in beef cattle farming for work in its own herd.
Training venue: LLKC, Rīgas Street 34, Ozolnieki.
Training dates: February 11 and 23 (two-day training).
Main training topics:
• Basics of farm animal breeding and breeding;
• Nutrition and welfare of farm animals;
• Registration of herds and farm animals and identification of animals;
• Supervision work organization system and document completion;
• Veterinary requirements and first aid for farm animals.
Lecturers:
• Aija Ādama, owner of the farm “B-Krasti”;
• Daina Lodiņa, Head of the Breeding Department of the Agricultural Data Center;
• Ieva Freidenfelde, breeding specialist at the Latvian Beef Cattle Breeders' Association (LGLA);
• Silvija Dreijere, Head of the Livestock Department of the Latvian Academy of Sciences.
Course fee: 70 euros (incl. VAT).
