Herbivore Project Farm Day at Valti

The LLKC Livestock Competence Center and Kuldīga Consulting Office invite you to a farm day on November 3 at the Valti farm.

Demonstration topic: “Feeding efficiency of Charolais breed calves”.

• Opening of Farm Day (Anita Siliņa, Head of the LLKC Livestock Competence Center).

• The relevance of the demonstration, results on the topic “Efficiency of feeding Charolais breed suckling calves” (Inga Muižniece, animal husbandry consultant at the Kuldīga Consulting Office).

• Aspects of qualitative breeding of beef cattle (Daina Kairiša, Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, Latvian University).

• Free discussion about the marketing possibilities of fattening beef cattle.

• Viewing demonstration groups (owners of the “Valti” farm, Vanda and Rihards Valtenbergi).
