As part of the Breedexpo2 project, a seminar was held for ZSA members in Preili

On October 22, in Preiļi municipality, the association “Zemnieku Saeima” in cooperation with JSC “Siguldas ciltslietu un māļiksīgās apseklošanas stacija” organized the BreedExpo2 project seminars “The Importance of Genomic Testing in Modern Dairy Farming”. Participants had the opportunity to learn not only about genomic testing as such, but also about the application of reproduction indicators, principles of pair selection and feed efficiency.
Representatives of the international Czech genetics company CRV, Miroslav Duchon and Milan Kollmann, spoke about genomic testing, feed efficiency, and reproduction economics.
