BreedExpo seminar “Procuring and raising quality calves”

On November 9, the seminar “Procurement and breeding of quality calves” of the association “Zemnieku saeima” was held. The seminar talked about the latest trends in the selection of breeding bulls, obtaining embryos from cows and in the laboratory, as well as their transfer. The seminar also talked about genetic evaluation, the cornerstones of ruminant growth and development.
