Juris Cīrulis is awarded for his contribution to agriculture

We are pleased to announce that Juris Cīrulis, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Farmers' Assembly and owner of the agricultural cooperative "Mežacīruļi", has been awarded the Certificate of Appreciation of the Cabinet of Ministers for his significant contribution to Latvian agriculture.

We are honored to have the opportunity to work with one of Latvia's brightest farmers on a daily basis and listen to his advice. We wish Juris continued joy in life and success in farming!

Juris Cīrulis, together with his family, has created and developed a successful, innovative multi-sector farm, which serves as a model, information and training base for existing and future farmers, as well as other interested parties. At the same time, J. Cīrulis has been actively cooperating with agricultural education institutions, non-governmental organizations and state institutions for many years in popularizing the essence of the Latvian farmer, defending his opinion and needs. Over the course of 20 years, the principle of multi-sector production has been chosen in “Mežacīruļi”, initially intuitively, but in later years already fully consciously, producing milk, growing wheat, rapeseed, grasses, beans and corn.

Juris Cīrulis is the founder of LPKS “Latraps”, founder of LPKS “Piena ceļš”, a member of the Latvian Veterinary Association, and a member of the Latvian Biogas Association.

The award ceremony will take place in the building of the Ministry of Agriculture, Riga, Republic Square 2, 2nd floor hall, from 1:00 p.m.
