Manure Standards Latvia project partners meeting

On December 18, 2018, the State Plant Protection Service hosted a meeting of the partners of the Manure Standards Latvia project.

VAAD and the Farmers' Council discussed the work done and further work. It was decided to use the data from the completed farm questionnaires and test the Work Package 3 calculator, with the coincidence of the results obtained with the analysis results. It was decided to compile and analyze the results of the Latvian analyses.

VAAD and the Farmers' Council agreed to organize the 2nd event in January and present the analysis results, the sampling film, the first results of the work package 3 calculator and other project-related news. It was agreed to organize the 3rd event in July or August together with a farm tour, presenting the project results.

Considered the possibility of VAAD participating with a presentation on the progress and results of Manure Standards at the Baltic Slurry final conference at the end of February.
