LV Presentations from the ZSA seminar “On and around rural roads”
On October 13, a seminar and discussion "On and around rural roads" organized by the association "Farmers' Council" took place at the Rāmava exhibition complex.
In the first part of the seminar, the Chairman of the Board of the JSC “Latvijas autoceļu uzturētājs” Raitis Nešpors informed about the arrangement of the water drainage system for state roads, while the management of the JSC “Latvijas Valsts ceļi” explained the reality and future plans related to rural roads in Latvia. The first part of the seminar was concluded by the Chairman of the association “Zemnieku saeima” Juris Lazdiņš with a presentation: “Roads in the countryside – situation, challenges and suggestions”.
In the second part of the event, a discussion took place about roads and possible cooperation to improve the road situation, which was attended by Juris Lazdiņš, Chairman of the Board of the Association “Zemnieku saeima” and Juris Cīrulis, Member of the Board, Raitis Nešpors, Chairman of the Board of the JSC “Latvijas autoceļu uzturētājs”, as well as representatives from the JSC “Latvijas Valsts ceļi” and local governments.
