Farmers' Assembly Congress 2016

Dear members of the Farmers' Parliament!

 

This year, on March 11, the annual meeting of the association "Farmers' Council" will be held at Bulduri Horticultural Secondary School. Congress-Conference, which will be held with the participation and support of "Swedbank Latvija". At the congress, we will discuss current events in the industry, look back on what was accomplished in 2015, set new goals, and as part of the conference, we will discuss the competitiveness of European agriculture in the context of global changes and the opportunities for farmers to do so.

 

The "Farmers' Saeima" congress this year is organized in two parts. Let's start with the speech of the Chairman of the Farmers' Saeima Juris Lazdins, Minister of Agriculture Jana Duklava as well as COPA President Martin Merrild, addresses. This will be followed by a congress, where the current board will report on its activities to date and its vision for the coming period.

The Congress will be followed by a Conference in two parts:
