The success of traditional and organic food products depends on the competencies of various market stakeholders – producers, retailers, the tourism industry and the level of their cooperation.
MARLO project goal is the marketing of traditional and organic products using the opportunities of the tourism sector, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between different stakeholders and the possibilities of networking. The consortium includes partners representing agriculture and tourism associations, so there will be many opportunities to share experiences to promote local and international cooperation.
Marlo's tasks includes needs analysis; promoting exchange of experiences on conventional and organic agricultural products and marketing training, adapting the ProudFarmer training tool to target groups and project country requirements, testing and evaluation, establishing local and international networks and promoting cooperation opportunities for the target group, dissemination and further use of results.

ZSA tasks in the project:
Participate in project management; Organize the 2nd project meeting in Latvia and participate in other meetings,
Participate in the development of the methodology system; Share experience in the trade of local and organic products, as well as related training; Share the results of the work on ProudFarmer with other project partners – introduce and explain the ProudFarmer training methodology and tools; Share experience; Conduct a needs analysis in Latvia; Participate in the adaptation of the training tool, Organize pilot testing and evaluation in Latvia; – Participate in project quality management; Participate in the dissemination and use of project results.
ZSA responsible for WP3 – needs analysis
The aim of WP3 is to identify information and training needs for traditional and organic products in the project partner countries.
Results:
Educational methodological tool for marketing traditional and organic food products. Development of the ProudFarmer e-learning platform.
