On November 3, the Farmers’ Parliament organized the Rural Day Techniques to return the overgrown land to agricultural production” held at the Kalnavoti Farm in Koknese district.
In the event it was possible to get acquainted with the assemblies for overgrowing and the return of land to agricultural production. Various cultivating cutters, drain cleaners, overhangs and other equipment were shown.
The project “Practical actions for holistic drainage management for reduced nutrient inflow to Baltic Sea” (NUTRINFLOW) from September 2015 to February 2019 is being implemented in the Central Baltic Sea Region Program 2014-2020 Year. The project’s leading partner is ProAgria from Southern Finland, a rural business support organization with a total budget of 1.78 million EUR, of which 85% is co-financed by the Central Baltic Program.
