LV Dairy farmers' experience exchange trip organized
On May 10, a dairy farmers' experience exchange trip organized by the Latvian Dairy Association took place, during which we visited the farms ZS "Kokles" (Bikstu parish, Dobele district), SIA "Rāvas" (Blīdenes parish, Saldus district) and ZS "Bukas" (Zebrenes parish, Dobele district) to learn about innovative technologies in livestock farming.
In the second part of the trip, a seminar and discussion took place, in which ZSA livestock expert Raimonds Jakovickis spoke about current events in the agricultural sector and the DESIRA project, LLKC Livestock Competence Center Head Anita Siliņa presented the characteristics of large, medium and family farms, while LPPKS “Piena Loģistika” office head Jānis Grasbergs will introduce the nature and necessity of cooperation.
